Bryce Canyon Hiking

May 2022 – Bryce Canyon is one of my favorite places. The unique rock formations, called hoodoos, make for an otherworldly landscape. When the sky is deep blue, which it often is, it perfectly complements the orange hue of the hoodoos. It is tough to take a bad picture here. Waking up early to see the sunrise over the canyon is recommended. The apparent change of color of the hoodoos is amazing! Then you can spend the rest of the day down in the canyon to be amongst the hoodoos!

The hiking is tough but never felt extremely dangerous or strenuous. The most beautiful hikes are inside the canyon, looking up at the formations. For those who do not want to hike down and hike back up, view from the rim looking down is stunning as well, with perhap a slight loss of perspective that looking up at these amazing formations provides.
